MY RANDOM THOUGHTS

So the sun sets  And a new day begins  The mood is sombre  Imbued with anticipation  Rain drops fall Like Eskimos we look  We've made night our friend  Ain't no monsters we pray  The sun rises  Signalling the end of day  We welcome the slumber  Nighty night we go.      @Sue.Ketter

Some journeys  Were meant to be taken  Through winding paths  Deep within forests  Surrounded. Some journeys  Were meant to be taken  Through dusty roads In deserted towns  Alone.    @Sue.Ketter

When the storm raged I found strength in Him who gave me life When the ground caved in  He held my hand, lifted me up When the world came at me  His shield covered me And when my faith faltered By His Grace, I was redeemed His mercies endure forever.            @Sue.Ketter

Scary, isn't it This place  This risk-taking place Where you step off that comfort train Leave your attachments behind. This place,  This Anything Can Happen place Where you are excited and yet dreadful Acceptance is paramount In this place     @Sue.Ketter

There will be good days And there will be bad days May we learn to live In the in-between Where stars shine The moon's bright. Where nothing happens And all is silent. May we revel in the quietness And be alive In the in-between.        @Sue.Ketter

Time flew by Seasons changed, With storms, paths cleared, With the sun came relief. Dreamt new dreams, though old ones remain The moments in memory, The culmination of all, Conforming to thine self, Remembering who you are!                @Sue.Ketter

For one moment, Just a single moment, The music played, Like it would never end, Sweet, sensual, and soothing, Yet so powerful. For one moment, Just a single moment, Her heart stopped She couldn't breathe, Felt like forever, Yet so little a time. For one moment, Just a single moment, The moon and the sun Shone brighter, The light so illuminating, Yet so subtle. For one moment, Just a single moment, The earth stood still, For the lovers, It was forever Yet just a short time. For one moment, For that single moment, She believed, That love exists for everyone, To hold and to cherish, Yet be held and be cherished.         @Sue.Ketter

Like a classic beat, Are you in my heart, Forever in reach, The memory so neat, Never to be forgotten. Like the setting sun, Is the beauty of you, The mere actions, A combination of which Can never be forgotten. Like a soaring eagle, Was your will by me, The wishes untold, But always there, Never to be forgotten. Like the morning star, Were your smiling eyes, The happiness shared, Within and without, Never to be forgotten.
