Crossroads
I will tell you a story
That in itself is irrelevant
Truthfully fictitious with obscure facts
Forming misinformed opinions
Entirely bereft of objectivity
Listen with your eyes open and ears closed
Oh, I mean eyes closed and ears open
Utter the assertion that of which you've not heard
Speak the tale that of which you've not seen
May this anecdote shutter your disbelief
Get lost in the abundance of anticipation
Ill equipped to handle truth, run as it approaches
Clutching at the markinations of ambiguity
Appease with opinions informed by beliefs
Unlike beliefs informed by opinions
Listen closely, regardless
The story in itself is irrelevant.
